: Canon EOS R5 C training series is released. I am not too worried about it at this moment just curious if anyone knows what it could of been. (Low level format while keeping magic lantern.) Also the card is a fairly good one, (sandisk extreme pro 95/mbs) and I do format it using only the camera. I should mention that I do hve magic lantern (the stable build not any nightlies) installed on that card but was not actively doing anything with it at the time but i know that may not matter. Has anyone else encountered this or is it normal? I was only about to find threads about the light blinking not being solid red. I tested video again a little later and also took some test photos and didnt have the problem again so far. According to the Magic Lantern forums, the T3i has a crappy SD reader in it with a hard limit on speeds of around 20 mb/sec. If anyone could clarify this matter for me with certainty I'd appreciate it. T3i here and the comments about low level format are going to help but I wanted to point something out and save you from spending money on a Sandisk Extreme Pro etc. What I have not been able to find is confirmation from anyone who has actually used ML on a t3i and recorded onto an external HDD. I checked the card for the video and it was there so it didnt seem to be a curruption issue while writing. As far as I can tell, Magic Lantern supports the 600 D, and the firmware itself allows for HDMI output. magic lantern canon t3i I am thinking about installing magic lantern on my camera but it seems like a LOT of hassle. Put the battery back in and it turned on fine. I tried to turn the camera back in and nothing happened so i switched it back off (light still lit) and pulled the battery. So i decided to wait for it to go off and it never did after probably a 1 1/2 mins it was still lit solid. I removed the lens and noticed the red led on the back was still lit up solid (not blinking at all) so i thought maybe it was still writing the video to the card i am not sure how long that takes or how it works. Am I able to get rid of the on screen settings on my recordings without Magic Lantern I. Solved this issue when using an old 5Dmark iii as a webcam years later from this post. Magic Lantern onto my T3i in order to take all of its benifits. This was my first Canon DSLR with video, a model that offers an interesting 310× Digital Zoom in video recording, available only in 1080p. I stopped recording turned the knob back to P mode and switched it off all pretty quick. Appreciate the few people that actually replied with an answer to this question. The EOS Rebel T3i features a 18.0 effective megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, offers Full HD 1080p video recording at 24/25/30 frame/s and HD 720p video recording at 50/60 frame/s. As someone who used to stream with a canon t3i for a few months, you’ll need magic lantern. Magic Lantern is a free firmware addon for Canon EOS DSLR cameras that adds a host of features to assist photographers and videographers. I took some video with my new t3i today and something sort of wierd happened that I cannot find any threads about. Edit: Magic Lantern is a little bit wonky with the clean HDMI out, but it definitely works Thanks for the help everyone u/CASTorDIE u/tomrboyden u/RROTOSCOPEE u/Reddumbdancy.
